Needs
Verdun Heights, comprising three adjacent blocks with underground parking and 18 apartment floors, required a continuous prime power solution capable of meeting the electrical demands of this substantial luxury development. The system needed to operate reliably day and night without interruption while maintaining minimal noise to preserve the peaceful environment of this upscale residential setting. Additionally, energy efficiency was essential to achieve LEED certification, aligning with modern sustainability standards expected in premium real estate.
Jubaili Bros Solution
Jubaili Bros provided three Perkins 4006-23TAG3A engines installed within JET brand diesel generators, with each unit capable of producing 800 kVA of prime power. The installation features synchronizing modules mounted on each unit that control motorized breakers for enhanced operational flexibility. Comprehensive acoustic treatment was applied to the generator room, with inlet and outlet attenuators preventing noise disruption for residents. This solution delivers reliable power 24/7, distinguishing Verdun Heights from neighboring properties that experience regular outages. The excellent power-to-weight ratio and exceptional efficiency of the 6-cylinder Perkins engines have also enabled the 355,209 square foot development to achieve LEED certification, demonstrating Jubaili Bros' commitment to both performance and environmental responsibility.
